Portaria 34/2017 was published in the Portuguese Official Journal (Diário da República) on January 18, 2017, to enter into force the following day, which, within the scope of policies to encourage employment creation, creates the Contract-Employment Measure, to replace the previous Stimulus-Employment Measure, approved by Portaria 149-A/2014, of July 24, revoking the latter.
