Rodrigo Serra Lourenço foi um dos oradores no Congresso Internacional "Labour 2030 - Rethinking the Future of Work", que decorreu nos dias 13 e 14 de Julho de 2017 na Alfândega do Porto (Porto), tendo apresentado o seguinte tema: "Fake it until you make it? The independence required by specific job roles implemented by new legal frameworks or policies and the limits to its implementation - the role of the Data Protection Officer under the General Data Protection Regulation and Portuguese labor laws in particular".
