Rodrigo Serra Lourenço heads RRP Advogados’ Labor team, as well as the Data Protection team.
Biography
His professional activity is mainly focused on Labor and Employment Law, including advising clients on social security, corporate responsibility and compliance matters related to human resources. He also offers advice in labor litigation issues.
His recent practice includes labor due diligences and the negotiation of labor aspects in the context of transactions involving corporate reorganizations and/or the transfer of staff.
He has also relevant experience in data protection/GDPR (focusing essentially on the evaluation of procedures and the development of organizational solutions within the scope of compliance obligations), as well as in immigration and visas policies.
He was a senior in-house lawyer at Auchan Retail Portugal, responsible for Labor and Employment Law issues, from 2009 to 2016. He was also an external consultant in Labor Law for Campos Ferreira, Sá Carneiro & Associados from 2012 to 2014.
