Law no. 75/2017, of August 17, was recently published in the Portuguese Official Journal, which establishes the regime applicable to common lands and other collective means of production.
Among the most relevant topics, it should be highlighted (i) the fact that common lands may no longer be subject to lease agreements and (ii) the possibility for the common lands’ management to unilaterally terminate the existing lease agreements, being (only?) liable for direct damages.
